Kentucky Warbler - Oporornis formosus

Spring Migration

This species is an uncommon spring migrant at Kennesaw Mountain.   The early date for spring migration is April 8.   The single day high count is  3 (28 Apr 2002).  The  late date  is  May 21st.   This species is a confirmed breeder in other areas of the park, and is suspected to breed on the mountain.

Fall Migration

This is an uncommon migrant in the fall.  The early date for fall migrants is July 23rd.   The single day high count for this migrant is 4 (15 Aug 1996).  The late date  is October 13th.
