Weather: 0730 Overcast and cool 64 east 10 - 15 mph.   Dry and cool
overnight.  The
stationary front is to the south of Atlanta.  More rain is predicted for
this afternoon and tonight into tomorrow morning, before a cold front
clears things out. 1200 - overcast cool 70 east 10 -15 mph. Observers:

Nocturnal Thrush Count  = 0600 -0730. s.r. 0729  0600 weather: overcast

Notes:  A good day at the mountain.  21 species of warblers for the day. 
I think that is the high count so far for the fall season.  Did anyone
have any blue-gray gnatcatchers today ?  The pefa was real cool what I
saw of the bird.  Thanks again to everybody with the totals.  Did anybody
bird k.mt. on 9/25/97 or know somebody who did ?  This was the day with
the heavy rain all day.  I think this is the only day that is missing for
Sept.
