Time: 0700 - 1100.  0700 weather: low overcast with fog. Ceiling 600ft 72
wind calm.
1100 weather: partly cloudy skies ceiling 2,000 ft. 76 wind south 10 mph.
 Low pressure trough still in place over the southeast states.  The low
pressure trough will continue to produce unsettle conditions over the
southeast states.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms through 8/17/98.  
Observers: Atlanta Audubon Field Trip. bbl +15.
Others: bz, dz, md + bd.  Scattered showers and thundershowers last night
over north georgia.   There are no fronts in the southeast or approaching
the southeast. Winds will remain from the south.

Notes: Eight species of warblers.  Very foggy and poor light.  The fog
was thick from the big open area to the top of Big Kennesaw.  The
overcast and the fog start to lift and break up around 1045 a.m..  Thanks
