Obs: G Beaton, P Howard YBCU 2 one young one was calling the same "begging" call as on 7/15, a short series of notes similar to adult call but flat pitched, up on top of the mountain now. CHSW 12 RTHU 2 WEVI 1 YTVI 3 REVI 5 PUMA 1 WBNU 8 includes 2 downy young following an adult around near the maintenance area BGGN 1 NOPA 1 juv No idea where this one was hatched, but probably within the Park if not on KMT BTNW 12 3m 2f 1im 5if 1juv, again BLBW 1if CERW 11 2m 3f 1im 2if 3unk a very good count for this early! BAWW 11 1m 2f 2im 4if 2unk 5 species of warblers SUTA 4 2m 2call SCTA 2m AMGO 1 Pretty nice bunch of warblers for late July. Most above the saddle, but once nice flock just below the big open area. We also saw the freshest Giant Swallowtail I have ever seen, all bright and crisp. Beautiful! Giff
