Kennesaw Mountain Report 10/5/99 0730 -1000 52F-55F Cloudy skies, light SW wind, fog/mist at summit. The fog/mist didn't help much. One tree near the stairs to the saddle had 9 of the 12 BNWA all at one time. A very impressive sight! Per Giff Beaton, the migration season is atleast three weeks from being over. We usually experience another major push of birds in middle to later October as the season progresses. Many of the more interesting sightings have occured in middle October. So don't put the bins away for the season yet! Keep on coming out and see what else shows up.... See ya!
