This, in combination with the strong NE winds and the cloud cover, provided perfect conditions for a good hawk flight. With this in mind, Deb Zaremba elected to stay at the mtn. until 1300 to monitor the flight. The bulk of the BWHA came in 3 large kettles of more than 30 birds each. Also of note, the CHSW were not seen in their usual staging fashion. The birds observed today were moving quickly through the area on the strong winds. Tom Egan Marietta, Georgia
